On the eve of Thanksgiving 2016…
I want to say thank you so much for being here. Whoever you are, wherever you’re reading this, whatever day in the history of space and time… thank you for finding and connecting with me.
As we go into the holiday season of giving thanks and gratitude, I want to share something that I do to keep this feeling of connectedness year round. I once heard Oprah endorse this specific exercise and it’s made the world of change since I started. Annnnd here we go. The minute my mind is awake, I focus on three things I am grateful for. One is usually a very fat fluffy white cat named Jack who is asleep on my head and purring so loudly that it’s the reason I am awake. The other two come as the new day rushes in and I start the new day connected to the positivity of the world.
For today though, I am so thankful for my past as it has given me many lessons of strength and perseverance, my immediate present which is surrounded by two cats and an Airbnb ‘15 guest turned Thanksgiving Dinner ‘16 guest, and for my future for which I am open to whatever the universe has in store for me.
I imagine this blog space to be stories of my sordid online dating experiences mixed with stories of people and experiences we’ve spared you from having to meet in real life.
My most important message that comes out of me is that I truly want to make sure that you know, if you didn’t already, that you are a badass and you deserve only the best. Stay here for the stories or ask us for help, but stick around. Good people should always be connected.
Lots of love,
